About the service The car is only ever booked for one wedding per day. That way we can give you our full attention to ensure that we provide exactly what you want on your special day. Our standard service includes chauffeur driven transfer between your house, church or other wedding venue and your reception - but if you have other ideas let us know! The car will be dressed in ivory white ribbons and bows or, if you prefer, any other colour of your choice. Our charges are VERY reasonable – see Prices / terms page for details. |

About the car Affectionately known as "Aunty", our Rover P4, with its ivory white paintwork and beautiful red leather and walnut interior, provides an elegant way to arrive at your wedding service in some real old fashioned British style. Everywhere she goes, she attracts admiring comments. She is in superb condition and is very comfortable to ride in. She is fastidiously maintained and has never let me down. You will want to see the car before you book it of course and try it out for size - the rear is surprisingly spacious, with more leg room than some traditional luxury cars. |

Why "Aunty"? These cars are nicknamed "Auntie Rovers" because, when they were introduced, contemporary journalists compared them with sitting in Auntie's front room on leather seats upon Wilton carpets and walnut furniture - with the silence only broken by the ticking of the clock... About Us We run this service because we believe this vehicle needs to be used and appreciated - and we enjoy it! This does not mean that you will get anything less than the service that you would expect if you were to use a larger firm (usually at a higher cost). On the contrary, we pride ourselves on our professionalism and have delighted customers who would be happy to provide a reference if you should need one. So far no one has failed to be absolutely thrilled. We guarantee that you will feel special arriving at your wedding and reception in "Aunty".
